Responsibilities:
Providing design for the preliminary and detail design phases of the project for Master-plan, infrastructure, and service connections to Multifunctional Arena in Zayed Sport City Abu Dhabi.
(Including : Storm water , Sewer system , Road Design , Landscape , etc)
Preparing drawings in accordance with our client and internationally recognized standard formats.
Preparing design drawings using AutoCAD.
Supervise/Review outsourced design of services.
Follow up obtaining related NOCs & Design approvals from Authorities.

Project Management: Parsons, Contractor: Al Habtoor - Murray and Roberts Joint Venture.

This 1-million-ft² campus is the first overseas campus of the one of the world’s oldest content value universities in UAE, Relocating to a purpose-built campus on Al Reem Island that will accommodate 2,000 students. University was completed 1 month ahead of schedule and on budget.

My responsibility: As Assistant Project Director of Obermeyer (Project’s Technical Consultant) f
rom beginning to end of Defect Liability period to assist the senior project director to:

-   Direction and control, organization, and coordination of all consulting activities of the project team (sub-consultants and engineers) together with senior project director.
-   Site visits for inspections; issue Non Conformance Reports (NCR).
-   Coordinate field office drawing controls, progress photos and documents needed to support construction progress meetings and reports.
-   Chair weekly QA/QC meeting.
-   Fully in charge during the Defect Liability Period.

G+4 floors, steel structure from Turnkey contract from foundation to completion and handing over to end users.
(set up my own business with family members in construction and contracting field)

My responsibility as Construction Manager included:


  • Managed a 60-person crew.
  • Organizing the project, management of construction.
  • Managing the project from A to Z (Budget, time, resource, quality, invoices) 
  • Preparation of the contract program.
  • Representing the company in meetings, contract negotiations and subcontract selections.
  • Direction and control all engineers on the project to assure the project proceeds according to schedule (target program).
  • Recruit required staffs. 
  • Managing and coordination of all departments (commercial, planning, Q.C., Safety, MEP, etc).
  • Contract preparation, co-ordinate and negotiate about claims and variations with client & consultants.
  • Overall control on purchases of required materials, purchase or hiring machineries.
  • Control the reports before submission to consultant and client.
  • Prepare project reports for Company board of direction. 
  • Attend in internal company meetings and report to the Board of Direction.

(ImenRah Consulting Engineers is a leading design consultant in the field of airport design; they also have road and architectural design departments and deliver landmark projects in over 30 cities around Iran.)
My responsibility: As Assistant Project Director:
  • Directly assisting and supporting the Project Manager.
  • Coordinating between design and construction teams.
  • Coordinating of all members of the design team to ensure the delivered design is fully coordinated.
Assists Project Manager in :
  • Coordination with Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), including cost and schedule status.
  • Troubleshooting specific construction related issues.
  • Direction and control of the Consultant's site supervision team as per contract requirements.
  • Coordinating field office drawing controls, progress photos and documents needed to support construction progress meetings and reports.
Completing tasks related to the planning, design, tendering and construction of airport facilities under the direction of Project Managers.
Participate in the Development of Airport Master Plans.
Co-ordination of all members of the Design office to ensure the delivered design is fully coordinated.
In charge for all civil work in Airfield (Including: RWY, Taxiways, Drainage trenches, etc).
In charge of civil work for internal access roads and parking (cut & fill, Sub-Base, Asphalt).
Review and appraisal of reports prepared by Design office and Sub-Consultants.
Coordination and interface with the Main contractors, Client and Airport Authority.
Attend weekly meeting with all project parties.
Monitor work progress and determine performance vs projected targets of work.
Prepare delay notices and submit, Perform Delay analysis and Prepare Extension of Time Programmes. Review of claims and variations.
Monitor subcontractors’ performance, review and approve their programmes and ensure that they deliver respective work on schedule.

My responsibility: Civil Engineer of Technical department, Prepare (shop drawings / as-built drawings / method statements / BOQ / project program/ reports / material submittal /inspection requests / Develop construction specifications and procedures. /check the Sub-contract invoices and quality control at site. /Assist for preparation of tender estimates. /check the surveying / evaluate the construction materials and give recommendations to commercial Department.
