This 1-million-ft² campus is the first overseas campus of the one of the world’s oldest content value universities in UAE, Relocating to a purpose-built campus on Al Reem Island that will accommodate 2,000 students. University was completed 1 month ahead of schedule and on budget.

My responsibility: As Assistant Project Director of Obermeyer (Project’s Technical Consultant) f
rom beginning to end of Defect Liability period to assist the senior project director to:

-   Direction and control, organization, and coordination of all consulting activities of the project team (sub-consultants and engineers) together with senior project director.
-   Site visits for inspections; issue Non Conformance Reports (NCR).
-   Coordinate field office drawing controls, progress photos and documents needed to support construction progress meetings and reports.
-   Chair weekly QA/QC meeting.
-   Fully in charge during the Defect Liability Period.
